TEO RHUN MING
Master of Science (Human-Computer Interaction)
He is a graduate student for Master in Science in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) at the Multimedia Department, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University Putra Malaysia His research aims to improve the collocated ad-hoc multi-mobile system for faster setup and synchronous interaction. He receives scholarship under the UPM's Graduate Research Fellowship scheme and MOHE's MyBrain15 program. Among his important accomplishments are his latest publication in the ACM ranked conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia. He graduated with his Bachelor of Computer Science (Multimedia) in Universiti Putra Malaysia as well. His field of expertise is JAVA programming, mobile application development and web application development.
ONG BENG LIANG
Master of Science (Human-Computer Interaction)
He is a graduate student reading for a Master in Science in Human Computer Interaction at the Department of Multimedia, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. His research is on interaction issues on a multi-mobile device system. He is being sponsored under the UPM's Graduate Research Fellowship scheme and MOHE's MyBrain15. Among his important accomplishments are his latest publications in an ACM ranked conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia. He graduated with first class honour in his Computer Science (Multimedia) degree in UPM as well. He was the Former Deputy Vice President of Student Representative Council of UPM who helped university students for their academic and welfares.
HOO YONG LENG
Hoo is a master student in Human Computer Interaction, in the Department of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Noris binti Mohd Norowi. He received his Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Information Technology from University Putra Malaysia (UPM Serdang). Currently, his master research scope is related to Virtual Reality, Human Computer Interaction and Computer Music. He is also a recipent of the UPM's Graduate Research Fellowship.
NUR SYABILA ZABIDI
Master of Science (Human-Computer Interaction)
Nur Syabila has a Bachelor Degree of Information Technology from Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia University (UTHM) where she graduated in 2014. Her thesis then was titled 'Aplikasi Buku Cerita Digital – Pian Si Ulat Buku'. She also holds a Diploma in Information Technology, from Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Polytechnic (PSMZA), Terengganu. Her research interests lie in Virtual Reality, Multimedia Information Retrieval, Social Media Computing, Augmented Reality Tracking, Interaction and Display, and Machine Learning for Multimedia Content Analysis. She is interested in new challenge to increase the exposure in research field.
AMELIA MAZALAN
Master of Science (Human-Computer Interaction)
Amelia has a Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) where she graduated in 2012, and a Diploma in Computer Science, also from the same institution. Her current project is on enhancing multi-touch gestures for kindergarten children using auditory cues.
NAMETSO MOTSWAGODISA
Master of Computer Science (Multimedia Systems)
Nametso studied Multimedia for her degree at the Asia-Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APIIT), Malaysia. She loves music - she is a singer, a gifted keyboardist and a song writer. The title of her thesis which she is currently working on is 'Gesture Recognition in Computer Music Interaction: the Virtual Piano'.
